Throughout Mr. English's professional career as a photographer, his images have straddled the line between editorial (photo reportage) and fine art photography. His work has been exhibited nationally in galleries and museums and is included in numerous private collections.

In May of 2005 Mr. English received a Greater Pittsburgh Artist Opportunity Grant in support of his fine art landscape work, "Retrieving the Scattered." Mr. English continues his relationship and ongoing documentation project for the Squam Lakes Conservation Society (New Hampshire), photographing lands for which the SLCS is protecting. In addition, he and his wife, Delanie Jenkins, have been working on a photographic collaboration entitled, "While Lila was Sleeping."
